It’s been an awful long time since I have last updated you. The truth is, my whole life just spun out of control and I didn’t have the strength to share the misery. Last you knew, I was on my way to Spain with high spirits and expectations for a life I had dreamed of for too long. Unfortunately, I was stranded at the Spanish airport and spent four days in airports and on airplanes trying to get delivered back home. 

Since then, I have moved back in with my parents. I have suffered an emotional breakdown and been unable to figure out where to go next. I have struggled with who I am and who I wish to become. With the help of my family, however, I am pleased to say that I have finally found a passion I can pursue without reservation. Rather than pursuing a person who is fallible, I can bravely pursue a mission: to touch the lives of others with volunteer work and service. 

For this year, I intend to volunteer locally where ever I am able. My long term goal, however, is to volunteer abroad. I have a passion and hunger for travel and adventure, and I have found a program which will enable me to pursue my passions and offer my services to those in need.

Because volunteering abroad comes at a cost, I have set up a page where people can make donations toward this pursuit. I will be working where I can to raise the funds, which I will reflect on my page, but any help would be extraordinary and help propel me forward. Every dollar counts, not only toward the monetary goal but in showing me that I have support in this endeavor.
